“I developed this underwater series with the collaboration of Juliana Damico, from the Synchronized Swimming National Team here in Brazil. The way she positions her body underwater is incredible. It’s so soft and natural, almost like a ballet. I have some experience in underwater photography and in surf shoots as well, but this kind of work is so much more intense and pleasurable for me. For these pictures I used a marine case, a Sony Alpha 99 camera, and an old, but good, 20mm Minolta lens.”
