Marguerita + ping pong

by February 17, 2012

SCOPE readers in the NYC area will want to mark their calendars for next Friday the 24th, 7.00-10.00pm, which is the opening reception for a solo exhibition by renowned illustrator, artist, and sculptor Marguerita Bornstein. The exhibition is hosted by PiPs, a Brooklyn-based venue that — uniquely, to the extent of our knowledge — combines the sport of table tennis with the work of contemporary artists. And yes, this means that after you have a drink and take in Marguerita’s art, you can play a game of ping pong. Friday evenings don’t get much better.

PiPs is located at 158 Roebling Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Meanwhile, see more of Marguerita’s remarkable work in SCOPE’s Winter 2011 issue.
