The man’s art is eerie, even a little horrifying, yet funny and warm and familial at the same time. His monsters often come in gangs, are frequently of Brobdingnagian size, and are typically found creeping up on unsuspecting children. His densely-packed line drawings are reminiscent, in both style and mood, of the late Edward Gorey’s. Yet they have an attitude all their own. And they’re drawn on Post-it notes.

Born in Denmark 1978. I write and direct television shows for kids. I have a set of twins and not much time for anything. But when I have time I draw monster drawings on post-it notes… it is a little window into a different world, made on office supplies.
